Yoga has accompanied me through various stages of my life for over 20 years, with different teachers in different countries. When I was younger, I was particularly fascinated by the physical challenge of the asanas. During my pregnancies and postnatal recovery phases, yoga helped me to get to know my body intensively, and during my yoga teacher training, I found access to the mental and spiritual level of yoga.
With the help of yoga, I have found my personal philosophy of life: to trust that life will unfold as it should. Not to let external circumstances affect my inner happiness too much and to keep my mind lively, healthy and positive.
Applied to one's own body, this means accepting it as it is, recognising its strengths and weaknesses without judgement, and keeping it healthy and lively through beneficial and challenging movements and moments of relaxation.
I pass this on with joy and enthusiasm in my courses, practical sessions, lectures and workshops in yoga teacher training!
